Message from The Chair

I just want to take this opportunity to welcome you to our new website and hope you will all find it a useful way of communication between the residents and your parish Council. The website is also linked to our Facebook page and it has been our chief aim this last year to try and improve communication with the Parish Council, apart from just using our local parish notice boards. We started with writing our first annual report in the form of a news letter which we hand delivered to almost every house in the parish last summer. We also have made use of Facebook to publish notices about events in the village as well as the notice of the Parish Council Meetings and agendas and have answered Facebook questions as soon as we could.

Now with our website up and running we hope that the publication of important documents and minutes will also improve this area. So watch this space.

I want to thank Councillor Pete Wallis for his hard work in setting this up for us, bear with us too as we learn how to use it effectively.
